We used this hotel as a base to explore the Dingle Peninsula.
First impressions were brilliant, hotel reception staff really polite and welcoming. Rates were very really reasonable for a family room for 4 nights. Irish Breakfast was all you could ask for although no porridge on the menu. Room was beautiful modern and clean, very high standard. Was a bit cold but when I requested a heater it was no problem and brought to my room in 5 minutes. The member of staff also checked the radiators to make sure they were switched on. Cannot rate the staff highly enough.
sitting in the breakfast room overlooking the beautiful view of the green fields and mountains
stayed on a saturday night and the guests from a wedding party were quite noisy outside the room in the corridor, though the hotel security sorted out this fairly quickly
the views were fab.
there was a very bad smell outside our room 44 and i also felt we were put in the bowels of the hotel. it was a long way from reception and restrauent
It was very nice for our stay of two days and the staff were so lovely!
Staff were extremely helpful and nice. It was lovely to see local Irish people employed who knew about the area and could advise us on amenities, distance to other locations etc. It was very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by any noise etc. View from hotel is breathtaking.
I liked staying in such lovely place in such beautyfull countryside. It was the nicest hotel stays I,ve ever had.
we attended a wedding the views food and service excellent
Good situation - Ring of Kerry
Pay for wifi connection
I was there for a wedding only stayed the one night but would highly recommend
I was very impressed with the value for money regarding the kids' evening meal...... They were allowed choose half-portions from the main menu and we were still only charged the price of a regular kids' meal....very commendable policy !!!
Only one gripe....breakfast was "nothing to write home about"...no croissants, pastries, cold meats or cheeses...not everyone wants a "full Irish" - thankyou!!
Location great, quiet hotel
Receptionist on arrival dismissive breakfast poor
I was at Ballyroe Heights Hotel for a wedding and it was a beautiful spot for same. The location with it's views were beautiful and the hotel itself is lovely, clean, nice staff....and would be a great spot to stay if travelling around Kerry...but not really for a relaxing weekend away as there are no spa facilities. It didn't affect my stay as I was just overnight and for a wedding so wouldn't have availed of any facilities anyway.
Just a preference really....would have preferred if the shower was more powerful...but apart from that, everything was perfect.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice food. Beautiful view from parts of hotel. Reasonable rates.
No view from bedroom. High wall.
The staff, in particular the middle-aged woman on reception; the heat & comfort; the cleanliness (everywhere & everything was absolutely spotless), the beautiful pictures, decor, ambience etc., we would have stayed a month if we could. Will definitely be back, in the not too distant future.
